I Need A Bottle of Gin!!!!!!!!!

Hey Guys! I'm still here! Just been having some technical difficulties lately, so I havent been able to read or post (damn VZW aircard!). But anyway! Soooo much stuff has gone down since I last posted, but I'll make it bearable/readable.

So go with me in your mind. The Tuesday before Thanksgiving, I'm at Columbia Mall doing some shopping in Nordstrom's (upstairs). I was ready to leave, but of course I was parked downstairs, so I took the escalator to get to the parking lot. Well... 2 children, ages 8 or 9 were playing around me on the said escalator and long story short, stepped on my shoe strings and I fell down the escaltor and sprained my ankle (smh). I went off.... my court date is next month.

Thanksgiving was grand. I just spent it with family as usual.. and ate my ass off. Me and my dad and brother went to see Transporter 3 on Thanksgiving. It was alright, not as violent as the 1st 2. I will say though, Jason Statham is a fine and fly white man (Jesus)! Love him as much as Idris Elba.

I recently applied for a new position at my job. I hope I get it. I could definitely use the money!

Yesterday I saw Cadillac Records. It wasn't Dreamgirls, but I LOVED it nonetheless! Did Beyonce' say the F word like 25 times? "I need a bottle of gin. A bottle of gin! I NEED A FUCKIN' BOTTLE OF GIN, SHIT!!!!!!!!" lol... yes I do love that bitch with everything that's within me. This was like her very best movie, ever. I was very impressed. I think I'm going to either get an Etta James cd or the movie's soundtrack, or both, because the lyrics for some of the Etta James songs were so currently applicable and beyond their years. She was a genius. There's a song called "All I Could Do Was Cry." When Beyonce' sang it, I almost cried. Oh nevermind, I just found both renditions on limewire.... Gotta love limewire... Oh yeah, Mos Def and Columbus Short were like SOOO fine in this movie too!!! thankya jesus!

Also, I'm going to try something new in the bedroom. Is this trashy?

And finally, I'm going to be talking to a grant writer today. I'm really trying to get my clothing line off the ground. I feel like if Darius can start his own cooking show, and Joey can execute all of his programs for the HRC, dammit! I can start my clothing line! Look out for it in '09!

Bitch, I'm Broke

Yes it is true. Now I won't complain, because throughout this "recession", I haven't had to worry about much. I've had gas in my car, I've been able to pay rent, I've been able to eat regularly, etc. But here recently, I've been broke as shit!

This is how I know I've been broke! Last week, I had to call my car financing company and tell them that I got laid off so I could get a deferred payment plan. I've been so broke that if somebody told me that I could make love to Idris Elba (thank you jesus) for $10, I would have to take out a payday loan! I've been so broke, that I've considered working food service (ill)... shit! I've been so broke, I've considered working whore service! I've been so broke, I had to ask my parents for money (yuck)! I've been so broke, I am now a gold member at www.cashnetusa.com which is one of the biggest legal loan sharking institutes in America! (pay day loans are addictive. don't effin juge me!)....

But again, I will not complain, because alas, if penis wasn't free, I probably would be bankrupt because I've been getting an over abundance of that here lately. mmmm I have a lot to be thankful for ;-)

So for all those who are wondering (and to those who are not), Marcus and I are fine. Every now and then a little discrepancy or a little tustle is always good because the makeup sex is AMAZING! (believe me when I say hunny!). My ol' roomstore bed almost didn't make it... mmm.. (shakes my head).

But anywho, as we all should know, "I Am...Sasha Fierce" came out today, and the bitch rocks. In celebration, I decorated my desk at work today.. below is the picture of my mini Bey shrine...

Me and Marcus broke up last night ( and no Joey it wasn't the thing we talked about).. It's a long story that I don't have the heart to go into right now as it just happened yesterday. I am kinda heartbroken right now. I think I'm going to be taking another little blog break. In the meantime, I'm going to be looking for a place to relocate. I'm tired of fuckin Baltimore....

Ok so I think it was like the last time I wrote, I was all excited about Beyonce, but no sooner had the "ink dried" on my page, I heard Single Ladies and If I Were a Boy! Talk about not doing shit but watching YouTube all day! Anyone that knows me knows that I absolutely ADORE Beyonce and I have been doing nothing but singing these 2 songs all week... aaah I love Beyonce..

Also, as the holiday season approaches, I'm thinking about taking a vacation to Jersey to hang with the Jersey blogger crew... It's going to be hot I think.. I hope Fuzz is going to be cooking.

Ok so you know those items of clothing that you wear that make you feel a lil thug? Well for me it's a fitted hat. I've only had 3 in my whole life but I always lose them, but I just found one so I did a little photo shoot! On a scale of 1 to 10, 1 being the lowest, 10 being the highest, how trade do I look?
